DW Planning & Architecture
Involves the analysis of an organization’s warehouse information needs to define and estimate incremental construction from which the warehouse will be constructed.
DW Construction
Involves the creation of the warehouse data structures (Datawarehouse and Data Marts) and the subsequent populating of those data structures.
DW Access & Analysis
Involves the development of the warehouse’s Business Intelligence components and architecture (i.e., access interfaces and data marts), and the subsequent design and construction of the BI components (e.g., queries/reports, dashboards, Web interfaces).
DW Staging & Management
Involves the development of an infrastructure to support long-term growth and operation of the data warehousing from both an organizational (planning, marketing and change management) and technical (capacity planning, usage monitoring and architecture maintenance) perspective.
DW Deployment
Involves the deployment of the data warehousing and its Business Intelligence components into the business user hands. Covers the marketing, training and support of the data warehousing inside and outside of the organization.
